History

Adelphi is regarded as the ultimate independent Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottler in the world. Established in 1826 on the banks of the river Clyde in what is now the heart of Glasgow, the independent Adelphi Distillery adheres to strict standards of excellence, purity and rigour. Only the very best single malt casks available are selected under the meticulous scrutiny of a panel of “noses” chaired by celebrated whisky authority Charles MacLean. Only the very best barrels are chosen from the distilleries. All whiskies are bottled straight from the cask without the addition of artificial colouring and without chill-filtration.
