Anton Bauer – Gruner Veltliner Rosenberg

History

Anton Bauer is a 29-hectare family-owned estate located in Wagram. It has been run by the 4^th generation since 1992 when Anton Bauer took over the 3.2-hectare winery from his parents after studying oenology and training in Burgundy. Anton’s winemaking philosophy is centred around the uncompromisingly pursuit of quality, paying particular attention to underlining features of the terroir that are reflected in the unique character of his wines.

Tasting Notes

Beaming yellow with straw-gold reflexes: fine apple tones on the nose. Pear, quince, aroma of dried fruits with an exotic hint, exhibits pleasant spice; on the palate nutty-spicy-peppery, piquant fruit acidity, juicy and stimulating; elegant, lively finish.
