Chateau Moulin de la Rose, nicknamed the ‘Liliput of Saint-Julien’ because of its 5 hectares embedded in the middle of the large Grands Crus Classes properties of the appellation, is distinguished by the homogeneity of its soil composed of best bass of Saint-Julien. Its grape varieties, made up of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot, make it possible to produce a full-bodied, tannic wine while retaining the suppleness and finesse of the great Saint-Julien wine.
Purchased in 1971 by Guy Delon, and located in the middle of the Grands Crus Classes of Saint-Julien, Chateau Moulin de la Rose is today managed by his children, Jean-Francois and Guylene.
